When making a shot, the greatest force is applied to the bottom layer, the furthest from the surface that makes contact with the cue ball. By combining leather of different hardness at the top and bottom of the layer, KAMUI ATHLETE makes it possible to take advantage of flexibility when hitting the center of the cue ball and prevent power loss due to rigidity when applying spin.
