In recent years, shafts have become less flexible and their power transmission has improved dramatically.
To maximize its performance, a tap that combines flexibility and rigidity is required.

However, previous taps had a trade-off between elasticity and rigidity.
So, to resolve this issue, we asked ourselves, "Is it possible to create a tip that increases rigidity without reducing elasticity, and achieves both spin and power?"
With this in mind, development began.

By layering leather of different hardness, we have created the "KAMUI ATHLETE," which combines the rigidity required for powerful play with the flexibility required for a soft touch.

When taking a shot, the tap exerts a large force on the "bottom circumference," which is farthest from the surface that makes contact with the cue ball.
The KAMUI ATHLETE combines leather of different hardness at the top and bottom of the layer, allowing for flexibility when hitting the center of the cue ball.
When applying spin, it is now possible to prevent power loss due to rigidity.
